**Salary: £24k - £30k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits**

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm, committed to delivering exceptional financial solutions to diverse clientele.
**The Role**:
As an **Accounts Assistant**, you will collaborate with Directors and team members to ensure seamless practice operations, offering excellent service to all clients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare accounts, reconcile bank, and control accounts using the client's bookkeeping software.
- Conduct bookkeeping on various online platforms (primarily QuickBooks Online, occasional Xero and Sage use).
- Undertake basic Corporation tax tasks post-accounts preparation.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, integrating with bookkeeping work and standalone VAT preparations.
- Address client queries, collaborating on issue resolution during bookkeeping and accounts preparation.
- Provide administration support, sharing phone duties and monitoring deadlines and workloads.
**Requirements**:
- Previously worked as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
- At least 3 years of experience working within accountancy practice.
- Prior experience with Sole Traders and Limited Companies.
- MAAT or ACCA part qualified.
- Skilled in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online software. (Beneficial)
**Shifts**:
- Monday - Thursday: 09:00 - 17:00
- Friday: 09:00 - 15:00
