The role of a Healthcare Assistant within 18 Week Support will require you will carry out observations, investigations, and basic treatments as required. You will also oversee the chaperoning of patients and assisting medical staff with day-to-day duties and any other duties under the direction of the registered nurse.

Welcome patients, visitors, consultants, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.

Carry out Vital observations.

Maintain stock control and careful use of equipment.

Maintain privacy and dignity of patients.

Distribute Patient Feedback forms.

Complete all relevant paperwork as requested by 18 Week Support Team

Chaperoning patients and required equipment as necessary for appointments and clinic.

Ensure strict confidentiality is applied to all clients and staff, ensuring the need to know basis is always applied.

Communicate care to patients, their families, and/or carers using appropriate language and rationale.

Assists the registered nurse with appropriate clinical documentation.

Reports any concerns to the trained nurse in charge of the patient.

Decontamination of instruments and clinical equipment

Weekday and Weekend shifts are available
