Janitorial & Workwear Supervisor

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Janitorial & Workwear Supervisor. **Duties**:

- To supervise and lead the janitorial and workwear cleaning team, providing feedback and completion of annual appraisals.
- To maintain a flexible daily cleaning schedule of all areas, assign tasks to staff and ensure standards are met with the help of Team Leaders and organise the staff rota ad if any extra cover needed.
- Monitor staff attendance and report any absences as well as maintain the holiday tracker and approve/manage staff holidays.
- Updated janitorial and workwear timesheet with staff worked hours and absences.
- Carry out Return to Work interviews.
- Completion of janitorial audits to determine any inconsistencies.
- Lead the workwear team, ensuring client staff uniforms are ordered and staff badges issued.
- Deal with complaints for the workwear department and liaise with uniform supplier regarding any queries.
- Monitor stock of cleaning, materials equipment and PPE and request orders to be placed, maintaining record on spreadsheets.
- Check cleaning material and supplies order deliveries upon receival.
- Maintain Personal and Garment Lockers’ tracker updated and report any issues.
- Maintain any reports in the janitorial and workwear area updated.
- Liaise with management team to ensure we meet customer demands.
- Comply with all aspects of Health and Safety and ensure Janitorial and Workwear teams always comply with guidance.
- Assist with cleaning or ad hoc demands if necessary.

Experience/ Skills/ Requirements:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning supervision
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- IT skills (Microsoft Office Pack)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
