Based in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, Abram Pulman & Sons Ltd (Est 1830) are a Steel Stockholder and Processor where an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy work force and become part of the successful Pulmans team.

This position entails collation of completed work orders, collation of stock materials for other internal needs, dispatching, loading, banding in a safe and timely manner to fulfil our customer's and works requirements. Some of this work will be carried out with the aid of, overhead cranes and sideloader. Full training will be given.

Within that process you will be expected to become competent, after training, in the following.

1. Pick orders from our stock system using overhead crane, or by manual handling.

2. Use our Crane to load and unload our vehicles, customer vehicles and supplier vehicles.

3. Unload and check incoming/outgoing materials.

4. Assembling stock materials for the warehouse from the warehouse picking notes.

5. Arrange for materials to be transported to the warehouse.

6. Assembling and picking and packaging of completed works orders.

7. Undertake the daily checks on our associated lifting equipment.

8. Ensure you work safely adhering to the companies H & S requirements.

9. Keep your work areas clean and tidy.

PPE will be supplied and you will be expected to wear it at all times when on the shop floor.

**Shift**

Hours of work: 39 hours per week: on one of the following shift patterns

Monday - Thursday 11.30 a.m. till 8.00 p.m. Friday 11.30 a.m. till 7.00 p.m.

Monday - Thursday 9.30 a.m. till 6.00 p.m. Friday 9.30 a.m. till 5.00 p.m.

With 30 minutes unpaid break.

**Please note these may change to meet the needs of the business**

**Holidays**

25 days per year + 8 bank holidays (holiday year January - December)

We require applicants with a good level of concentration, focused and with a strong work ethic
