**JOB SUMMARY**
The role will involve survey site visits to minor works/facilities projects and production of estimates. There will also be a level of project management involved within this role.
A highly motivated and proactive individual with good communication and interpersonal skills.
**Responsible for**
Successful delivery of estimating/QS function within facilities department
Client/Professionals liaison
Negotiation
Ensuring competitiveness
Maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new potential customers/business
**KEY TASKS**
Estimating minor for works project
Quantity Surveying for minor works projects
Actively seeking new clients while maintaining our high levels of customer satisfaction
Working as part of the team to exceed monthly targets
Maintaining a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills within the team to enable the company to meet tight deadlines which requires the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Possible requirement to travel throughout the UK & Ireland.
To participate and support all Company initiatives with compliance of procedures and requirements for ISO9001, 14001 & 18001, FSC and Investors in People Standards.
Any other duties conducive to the effective operation of the post which the Company deem to be within the post holder’s competence.
**Essential Qualifications**
5 GCSE’s at C grade or above (inc English & Maths)
**Essential Experience**
The post holder must have previous experience in a similar role, and should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and capability of facilities/fitout environment. They must be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of Microsoft packages. Experience of the Conquest estimating package would be advantageous
