Exciting opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic, motivated and confident manager to lead a team of dedicated and passionate staff to provide top class support to individuals. We are looking for a manager to lead and inspire the service to obtain outstandingand facilitate positive outcomes for the individuals in the service.
This role will require a high level of patience, commitment and empathy. As the Manager you will be expected to provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating and homely environment. The service provides 24-hour support and care to individuals that present with behavioursof concern. Our service supports individuals with, learning disabilities, autism and mental health associated conditions. We support these individuals within a wellbeing framework which encompasses positive psychology approach and low arousal-based interventions.
Duties & Responsibilities:

- 40 hrs per week, mostly Monday - Friday, with some weekends and take part on the on-call system, therefore driver essential
- Ability to lead and manage a staff team to provide a high level of care
- Practice lead, providing guidance and support to the staff team.
- Be responsible for monitoring standards of care being delivered by observations and direct involvement. Ensuring that the people in the service are achieving quality life outcomes
- Implementation of policies and procedures
- Preparing the rota, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are available to keep people safe
- Acting as a focal point of contact with family members, visitors, professionals and maintaining positive relationships
- Attend meetings and the submission of relevant reports
- Be responsible for monitoring each person's health and wellbeing. Being aware of any changes impacting on the care being provided
- Be responsible for reviewing and updating care plans, risk assessments and health plans
