Transport Coordinator

We’re currently recruiting for a Full-time Transport Coordinator to join our team in **Worksop** (S80 3EG). You’ll be partnered with one of our impressive clients, ensuring that all things logistics are coordinated on site
You will be working in 48 hours per week with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Start times include **06:00 - 18:00** or **18:00 - 06:00**

What you’ll do on a typical day:

- Supporting the dedicated transport operation for the GXO Wilko network on the open book contract
- Assisting in the management and recording of driver hours
- Ensure that all drivers are pre-briefed and debriefed in conjunction with the relevant processes and that all paperwork is accurately completed and signed
- Allocation execution of the plan on Paragon and debrief KPI and business critical data captured
- Ensure all tachographs are downloaded in full at the beginning and end of each driver’s shift in accordance with legal compliance
- Handle day to day queries from drivers, customers and other internal departments
- Liaise with warehouse operations in regard to load availability
- Liaise with National Planning on paragon routes and acceptance of plan

What you need to succeed at GXO:

- Competent user of the Microsoft Package
- An analytical approach, with a keen eye for detail
- The ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
