CK Group are recruiting for a HSSE Advisor to join a chemical company at their site based in Stevenston on a permanent basis.

The Company:
Our client is a chemical manufacturer that specializes in the manufacture of explosives.

**Salary**:circa £30,000-£36,000 per annum

**Location**:
This role is located in Stevenston, based on the coast just South of Glasgow.

HSSE Advisor Role:
Your main duties will be:

- Completing day to day operational tasks on behalf of the health, safety, security and environment department.
- Ensuring activities are carried out in compliance with H&SE legislation and company policy.
- Conducting inspections, audits and general monitoring.
- Support the maintenance of HSSE management systems.

Your Background:

- A degree level education in Health & Safety Management or Occupational Health & Safety.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Previous experience in HSSE in manufacturing and a high hazard environment.
