Freezer Cold Store Picker

Country Fare Foodservice is looking for a Picker/ Packer to join our Warehouse Team and look after the Freezer Unit. The role requires a high level of organisational ability and the capability to work in a cold environment. We are a fast-growing company delivering throughout Hampshire. We have a strong company culture with a passion for great customer service. Forklift licence preferred.

**Working Hours**

45 hours a week worked over 5 days to include Saturdays.

your regular day off is Sunday and day other day in the week

2am-11am

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor the freezer equipment to ensure proper temperatures and storage conditions are maintained.
- Receive, inspect, and store frozen food products according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, including stock rotation and product labeling.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
- Perform regular quality checks on frozen products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including the proper handling of frozen goods and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to fulfill orders and maintain an organized freezer area.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience working in a freezer or cold storage environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks and work in cold temperatures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
