We are seeking a skilled and proactive Company Secretariat Assistant to join our Company Secretariat team. As a key support member, you will collaborate closely with senior colleagues, contributing to the efficient functioning of the boards of both non-material and material subsidiaries.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Maintain statutory records, ensuring accuracy and compliance for Group companies.
- Coordinate meetings for material subsidiaries, facilitating decision-making by directors.
- Attend meetings of non-material subsidiaries, draft minutes, and support related documentation.
- Provide company secretarial support and advice to the business.
- Assist with training and induction of subsidiary directors.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and governance guidelines.
- Undertake initial assessments of new regulations, identifying impacts on SJP Group.
- Liaise with the Group's share registrar for shareholder queries.

- Experience in a Listed Group or large financial services organisation is desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to research options and present potential solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Collaborative with a focus on collective achievement and performance.
- Resilient, tenacious, and excellent communication skills.
- Confidentiality and tact are crucial.
