We have a fantastic opportunity for a housekeeper to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our talented team who are dedicated to provide excellent patient care.

Maintain a clean and tidy environment in the ward including offices, staff room, side room, sluice etc

To follow infection control procedures whenever carrying out duties and ensure procedures are followed should there be an infection control outbreak

Stock checking and keeping enough stock level.

To ensure that any repairs required to fixtures and fittings are reported to the designated facilities Helpdesk as soon as possible.

Maintain a clean and tidy environment including offices, side rooms, treatment room, sluice, storerooms, patient bays, bed areas, staff room etc and remove clutter, cleaning equipment ready for daily use.Replenish all hand towels, toilet rolls, soaps etc. as and when required.
- Work closely with material management to ensure stock levels are correctly maintained and the stocks are correctly unpacked, stored, rotated and prevent overspend.

To carry out curtain changes as and when required or instructed.

Effective use of procurement

Support the management of the ward linen and laundry supply and restock.

Report faulty equipment, work closely with estates department and ensure the tasks are completed.

Assist clinical staff in bed cleaning and bed making

Adhere to Trust uniform policy

Adhere to Trust Information Governance policy

Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team

Must work according to the infection control guidelines and the national standards of cleanliness.

Empty and remove all clinical, domestic and recyclable waste ensuring waste segregation procedures are always followed.

To take responsibility for the safe storage of all cleaning products and materials, ensuring hazardous chemicals are locked safely.
