**Purpose of the Compliance Officer Role**:
To support in ensuring compliance with statutory duties and procedures.

**Main Responsibilities of the Compliance Officer**:

- To create and administer systems of monitoring compliance using a range of ICT packages including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- To issue contracts, ensuring appropriate senior sign-off, and monitor returns
- To issue and track agreements issued to external providers, ensuring appropriate senior sign off is secured and that providers return contracts
- To maintain a system of monitoring which identifies agreements that need to be reviewed
- To provide a professional, customer focused service to internal colleagues and external providers
- To ensure compliance with statutory duties by publishing and reviewing contract agreements
- To work in partnership with finance colleagues to ensure that value for money is provided
- To note and escalate quality assurance concerns within the team for scrutiny
- To manage reporting systems that feed into performance indicators for the department associated with compliance
- To manage inboxes
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected at this level

**The Perfect Compliance Officer will have**:

- Experience of working as part of a team
- Experience of working in a high-pressure environment
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Experience of managing own workload effectively
- Experience of providing good customer service
- Advanced Excel skills including the management of formulas
- Microsoft Office experience
- GSCEs or equivalent at grade C or above in English and Maths

**The Package and Benefits Offered to the Compliance Officer**:

- Three month contract
- £12 per hour
