Joiners Mate/labourer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Joiner's mate/labourer to join our team. As a Joiner's mate, you will be responsible for assembling and installing specialist joinery items. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

**Duties**:

- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials according to specifications
- Assemble wooden components using nails, screws, or adhesives
- Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, and painting
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is preferred
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and woodworking principles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labour
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using hand tools for woodworking tasks is preferred
- Ability to assemble wooden structures accurately
- Experience with painting and finishing techniques is preferred
- Capable of heavy lifting for moving materials and equipment
- Familiarity with power tools for efficient construction tasks is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.44-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week

- labouring: 1 year (preferred)
