**About Our Client**:
Our client is an established leader in the Transport & Distribution industry, employing over 5000 individuals. Locally you will be responsible for 2 sites, with 75 total employees. You will benefit from working in a large organisation with a support network of HR professionals but have the autonomy to drive and implement your own changes locally in a standalone role.
- Heavily unionised environment - union experience essential
- 75 FTE
- Key stakeholders include: HRBP (line manager off site), GM, x2 Site Managers, Ops Director

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide HR advice and support to team members and managers alike.
- Act as a trusted business partner to the senior leadership team
- Manage recruitment processes, from selection to onboarding.
- Conduct performance management and employee development programs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Handle employee relations issues in a sensitive and professional manner.
- Participate in the development of HR strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to improve HR procedures and workflows.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive company culture. Partner with and negotiate with trade union

**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful HR Advisor should have:

- A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience as a HR Advisor in an industrial sector such as manufacturing or logistics
- Experience working in a heavily unionised environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and autonmously
