Due to high demand for our services, we are pleased to offer the exciting opportunity to join our vibrant and fun team at Kinnoull Community Day Opportunities. The post holder will provide Day Opportunities for Adults with learning disabilities, supporting individuals to enable them to access and participate in a variety of group activities within the community and building bases.

As a Social Care Officer you will also be responsible for undertaking link worker duties which includes file maintenance, co-ordinating and chairing reviews, formulating and developing personal plans to meet specified and future outcomes. You will also be required to support individuals with varied needs, including individuals who may display stressed and distressed behaviours. Duties will also sometimes include assisting individuals with personal care which can include intimate personal care, cleaning tasks within the building and other duties as required.

The service currently operates 08:45-16:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:45-15:45 on a Friday. We can be flexible in allocation of the working hours for this post, but we would be looking for this to be worked over at least 3 days.

**The Individual**:
A full driving licence and a willingness to drive Perth and Kinross Council Vehicles is desirable but not essential for this post.
