**An opportunity for a flexible professional within a busy workplace**
Your main task in this role as a Stock Controller is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of stock receipts and deliveries so that our customers are satisfied with our Stock Office function and the quality of communication. You achieve this via the effective use of our computerized stock management system and by constantly liaising with operational staff, drivers, third parties and customers to ensure that good communications and service levels are maintained.
In doing so you:
- Ensure the accuracy of all data processed;
- Manage the Purchase Invoice function in accordance with requirements;
- Perform general office functions including filing, faxing, post, desktop management and other administrative duties;
- Act as the main point of contact for a number of accounts and provide stock information for all accounts.
At all times you maintain the excellent standards of housekeeping expected by Norish and their customers, highlighting any issues to management as appropriate. You also ensure that work is up to date and operate a clear desk policy to meet the standards of any internal/external housekeeping inspection at any time.
Further, you provide a clear audit trail so that your work can be undertaken by the Cold Store Manager or a nominated colleague in your absence. You provide cover for elements of the Cold Store Manager role in their absence.
