**Transport Planner**

Paul Mathew Transport Limited is the leading specialist transport supplier to the UK and European Theatre Industry.

Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Planner to work in a busy transport office reporting directly to the transport manager.

As a Transport Planner you will plan and organise the routing of deliveries and collections to meet the required business and customer requirements while ensuring compliance with transport policies, procedures and legislation are adhered to at all times. A geographical and transport knowledge of the UK is important in this role.

Working closely with the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for the compliance with all systems, procedures and processes, ensuring the vehicle fleet is well maintained along with holding accurate documentation and records and is effectively utilised by managing Jobs per vehicle to exceed company transport performance targets.

Must have a good knowledge of Microsoft excel and word.

- Good telephone manner / Communications skills
- Good geographical knowledge of the area
- Computer PC literate
- Knowledge of 0 Licence and driver hours
- Flexible with workload needs to be able to be hands on sometimes
- Good reactive problem solving

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £35,000.00 per year
