- SCI113323We are looking to recruit one or more Assistant/Associate Professors to the School of Computer Science to further enhance our successful and growing department.

We are seeking Computer Scientists across all areas of the discipline, complementing our existing strengths and adding new capabilities.

As an Assistant Professor, you will have a growing national reputation and the potential to make a significant impact on research and teaching.

As an Associate Professor, you will have a substantial and growing national and international reputation and will make a significant impact on research and teaching.

You will undertake research, individually and collaboratively, that complements the existing interests and activities within the School, publishing high-quality papers regularly in the leading outlets in your focus area. You will seek and secure funding through the development of your own research proposals and be active in research and knowledge exchange projects both internally and externally. You will take an active role in supervising doctoral researchers and will take responsibility for leading new research and other initiatives linked to your area of expertise.

You will have the ability to deliver a high standard of teaching through a variety of methods to support the School's teaching requirements, within your area of expertise. You will also be responsible for the development of content and structure of existing and new modules as part of the overall curriculum, with the potential to contribute toward delivery at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

In addition to the above, as an Associate Professor you would act as the principal investigator on major research projects, interpret and review research project outcomes and contribute to curriculum leadership.
