Housekeeper/cleaner

We are looking for staff members to join our great team who can ensure:

- residents, families, visitors and staff all receive a positive impression of the home by keeping our residents' rooms and common areas spotless.
- the highest standard of cleanliness in the home with a strong attention to detail.
- all our residents personal clothing and bedding are washed, dried, pressed/ironed, folded immaculately and put away tidily into their wardrobes and drawers.
- linen cupboards are well stocked and tidy.
- systems for identification and correct return of personal clothing are effective.
- general cleanliness of the laundry area including air filters/equipment and an understanding of washing guide instructions.
- to put the residents care and well-being at the heart of everything you do.
- a genuine like for older people and treat everyone with kindness, respect and dignity they deserve.
- the ability to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team as well as having the confidence to work autonomously, with a flexible approach.

Experience is not essential, as we will help you with all the training and support you’ll need to do the job. What is important is that you are caring, enthusiastic and have energy to share.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
