Mill Cleaner

Job Title: Cleaner

**Duties**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming within the factory and office area. The use of chemical agents as required in the discharge of cleaning operations, after receiving proper instructions and training.
- Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
- Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, showers and drinking fountains.
- To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels, etc...) as required
- To undertake wall washing or inside window pane cleaning to a height no greater than body height plus an arm's extension from floor level.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in manufacturing cleaning is a MUST
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks within given timeframes
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

Hours:
This position can be provided as 1 full time role or 2 part time roles with 16 hours each week.
Part time hours 0800-1100 and 1400-1700

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.00 per hour
