We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/CMM Inspector to join our team. As a Mechanical/CMM Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of the components we manufacture. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.

**Key Responsibilities: Mechanical/CMM Inspector**
- Perform first off, in-process and final inspection using CMM’s and conventional metrology methods.
- Carry out final inspection of parts as per customer requirements i.e. FAIR’s, Dimensional Reports, CMM Reports or CDR’s.
- You will be expected to read technical drawings and understand GD&T, control plans, and specifications to understand the requirements for manufacturing complex components.
- You will be expected to have extensive knowledge of conventional metrology methods including the use of Micrometres, Vernier Callipers, plug Gauges etc.
- You will be expected to have knowledge of CMM’s Programming and using existing programs.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into our quality database.
- Ensure all the correct documents as per customer requirements are forwarded to despatch department.
- Communicate with machine programmers, setters, operators, shop floor supervisors and production manager to ensure our high-quality standards are maintained.

**About You**
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role is required.
- Good Literacy and IT Skills Including Excel, Microsoft word and ERP or MRP systems would be an advantage.
- FAIR/CDR knowledge required.
- Extensive knowledge of conventional metrology methods is a critical requirement for this role.
- Good knowledge and experience in programming the latest CMM's would be an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where general helpfulness and flexibility are essential attributes for this role.
