**Sales Manager / Distributor Network Manager / Dealer Manager**

**Location of the Job**:North of England and North Wales.

**Salary**:£40,000 - £50,000 basic salary depending on experience.

**Additional information**:This is a permanent full-time position.

**Working Hours**: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

**The Job Role Details**:
We are looking for a Sales Manager / Distributor Network Manager to be responsible for managing and improving the performance of a well-established international network of distributors. Ensuring direct sales volumes to Key National Accounts are maintained and improved with thorough financial analysis so that appropriate margins are achieved, and growing the sales of the company in both new and established territories with our increasingly diverse range of products.

**You will**
- Manage and drive improvement in the sales performance of a network of international distributors.
- Identify when performance does not meet expectation, respond promptly and appropriately to rectify the issue.
- Establish, enforce and monitor the reporting of distributor-level KPIs that not only allows performance management but also drives strategic sales and production planning.
- Review on an annual basis distributor performance according to the terms of their contract.
- Ensure that the contract is reviewed annually and is fit for purpose and legally compliant.
- Support existing distributors to increase their market share.
- Drive marketing strategies and ensure that these gain traction by being shared through the international network of distributors.
- Ensure direct sales to Key National Accounts are maintained and improved.
- Volumes of equipment to established accounts should be maintained, and where possible increased, and new National Accounts established or re-gained from competitors.
- Thorough financial analysis throughout the entire product lifecycle (including any buy-back terms / clauses) should be applied to all National Account Sales so that appropriate margins are achieved.
- Establish new distributors in new markets.
- Ensure full due diligence is completed.
- Ensure Distributors have signed and understand the company Distribution Agreement.
- Support and on-board new Distributors providing training and mentorship.
- Contribute to analysis on product costing, transport costing and margin analysis.
- Maintain margins and innovate with logistical solutions to improve service and profitability.
- Implement quarterly / annual price reviews in multiple currency markets.
- Gather market intelligence and ensure market competitiveness is maintained and sector performance is improved.
- Identify New Product Introduction opportunities.
- Work with end customers and Distributors to drive the voice of the customer into the Design and Manufacture of new products.
- Escalate risks, non-compliance, concerns and deficiencies to the directors and ensure that these are rectified.
- Deliver actions and objectives agreed within the business plan.

**Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications**:
**You will have / be**
- Experienced in managing dealer distributor networks or a dealership manager looking for the next step in their career.
- Good knowledge of the agricultural, automotive, yellow goods, heavy machinery or plant equipment sectors.
- Commercially minded.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Happy to travel for work, including international travel.
