Fitter - HVAC and Factory/ Maintenance background

We are recruiting for a multi-skilled mechanical fitter who can work safely on all types of equipment within a static factory environment.

This is a dayshift role, working Monday to Friday, with occasional voluntary overtime.

It’s a 35 hour working week, this is a Monday to Friday role, starting at 7.45am - 4.15pm, and a 12.45pm finish on a Friday.

There is full training provided, the minimum we expect from applicants is time-served / ideally 18th edition qualified, manufacturing or production / electronics background would be perfect.

This position will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, diagnosis, reporting and tracking.

Key responsibilities will include:
Respond promptly to plant downtime to maximise throughput.

Repair and replace damaged equipment.

Record work completed using CMMS

Interrogate, fault find, and resolve equipment problems.

Engage in continuous improvement activities and meetings.

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Participate in projects as required.
