**SMT Team leader, NOTE Stonehouse**

NOTE Stonehouse are looking for a SMT Team leader who constantly strives for excellence.
This is a new position, providing the right person the opportunity to place their stamp on an
experienced team.

Initially Reporting to the Managing Director, the SMT Team leader is an integral member of
the production team. Working closely with KAMs, Engineering, quality, and other
departments to ensure the production process runs efficiently, ensuring customer
requirements are meet.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Oversee all activities within your team.
- Ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Provide guidance, instruction, and leadership to team members.
- Decide how to approach tasks and develop plans to accomplish them.
- Consider the team’s strengths, weaknesses, and available resources.
- Effective 360 communication, distributing information to team members and

stakeholders throughout the business.
- Managing tasks and department documents.
- Structure work processes and allocate resources efficiently.
- Establish and communicate goals that team members will work toward.
- motivate the team and provide direction.

**Duties**:

- Support Surface Mount (SMT) assembly line/equipment including programming,

maintenance, equipment/software trouble shooting, and debug of new and
existing production assembly programs.
- Ensuring NPIs are implemented effectively
- Perform failure analysis and/or root cause analysis of defects and/or field returns.
- Perform inspection, corrective and preventive actions, and other quality

assurance related assignments to ensure that the SMT line is producing a high
- quality product.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
- Monitor the machine condition to run smoothly and avoid unnecessary

breakdown.
- Covering department holidays and running SMT equipment as necessary

**Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience of continuous running and setting of SMT

equipment.
- Minimum 2 years leading a team
- Understanding of Mycronics equipment is desirable but not essential.
- Understanding of IPC 610 standards

**Remuneration & Contract**:

- Salary starting from £33,000 to £36,000 Per a year (Dependent on Experience)
- Permanent position
- Start date: ASAP
