ABOUT THE ROLE

You will report to one of our talented Merchandisers and have exposure to our UK Director of Buying and Merchandising as well as other senior level members of our team. These opportunities will be based out of our UK headquarters in London.

YOU'RE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL
- Generate and maintain weekly merchandising dashboard of key business performance metrics and highlight key findings to the team
- Work directly with merchandiser(s) on building new reports and merchandise analytics
- Create buy plans for core styles and track sales performance to recommend inventory flow
- Ensure appropriate coverage and inventory levels in basic and seasonal basic SKUs
- Find opportunities to balance inventory by size
- Assist in managing the financial plan of a class/business group
- Analyse historical and current trends to identify risks and opportunities and partner with merchandiser to develop action plans to achieve department goals
- Recap in-season actualised sales and inventory KPIs to plan and forecast
- Participate in development of pre-season strategy with merchandiser and buying team
- Present in trade and sign-off meetings
- Partner with the Buying team to manage liabilities with clearance and markdown strategy and execution
- Partner with brands and suppliers to ensure delivery compliance
- Have ongoing cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Marketing, Styling, Analytics, Engineering and Finance teams
- Support the Buying team with analysis and insight in order to execute vendor strategies

- You have a university degree with 2+ years of work experience in Merchandising and some previous experience at Assistant Merchandiser level
- You are systems-savvy, especially proficient with Microsoft Office, and comfortable using Excel to manipulate large data sets

- You have demonstrated an ability to solve problems using creative and analytical thinking and a solutions-oriented approach
- You are extremely detail oriented, organised and love to establish/improve processes
- You possess excellent communication skills and are comfortable working with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds, including vendors, brands and other external groups
- You are able to manage your time and prioritise so you can handle a wide range of tasks and assignments in a deadline-oriented environment
- You are flexible and maintain a can-do attitude when unanticipated challenges or shifting priorities arise

- You are able to work out of our office in London two days a week (with the rest WFH)
