**Job Description**:
This role is based at the Distribution Centre, Apex Park, Worcester within the Despatch area of Logistics. Working on the 2nd shift annualised hours pattern.

**OVERALL PURPOSE**:To ensure operational processes are being adhered to and standards are being followed. To drive the implementation of new processes with a focus on continuous improvement.

**SCOPE OF ROLE**: Reporting directly to the Team leader you will be primarily focused on internal processes but will also include looking at cross-departmental processes such as MFO, QMM processes etc. Other responsibilities include planning and delivery of process and standard training to associates. This role has no direct management responsibility but will need to act up as a team leader’s deputy if required.

**KEY DELIVERABLES**:

- Ensure process standards are being followed in the day-to-day operations
- Logging and management of deviations using Daily Leadership and BPS tools
- Writing and training of standards including confirmation to standards
- Supporting/leading 5S, Gemba Walks, and audits and driving the completion of any open actions.
- Leading and supporting problem solving, S-CIP projects within the department.
- Acting as a deputy for the Team leader

**ADDITIONAL TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Any other reasonable responsibilities given by the Team Leader or Department Managers

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrates strong and confident leadership and presentation skills
- Effective communicator to individuals and teams through strong verbal, written and computer skills
- Analytical mindset able to work with business and SAP processes
- Customer focussed and goal oriented with regard to business KPI’s
- A natural relationship builder intent on creating a supportive, positive and safe atmosphere.
- Competent Microsoft Office User
- Flexible approach to work

Additional Information

**Expected Start Date: 1st January 2024**

**Working Hours**: Annualised hours and shift patterns as appropriate.
