- TBCWe are looking for an enthusiastic** Interim Animal Keeper** to join our small but experienced Animal Team on a **4-6 month temporary contract**, to maintain our animal collection.

The Trust for Sustainable Living is a registered charity based near Newbury, Berkshire. Our visitor centre, The Living Rainforest, is home to over 850 species of plants and animals, including rare and endangered species of global conservation value.

This is a great opportunity to work with a wide variety of species from Mammals, Reptiles and Amphibians to Fish and Invertebrates.

**The role;**
- Support with the daily husbandry and routines of our animal department. This includes feeding animals, maintaining enclosures, daily record keeping, diet preparation and animal health checks.
- Train and Supervise our existing volunteers and participate in training new volunteers
- To check the health and well-being of animals and promptly report and record any changes observed
- Maintain detailed and accurate records as requested/required
- Adhere to the Living Rainforests health and safety policy and procedures
- Any other reasonable tasks assigned by your Manager
