Carpenter/ Cabinet Assembler

**OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

We are currently recruiting for Carpenter / Cabinet Assembler at our Newtownabbey Kitchen Centre Site. The main purpose of the position is to provide a high-quality service to our customers and to see contract orders through to completion in accordance with Health and Safety law and regulation.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Fitting kitchen doors onto kitchen carcasses.
- Cutting and edging kitchen worktops.
- Fitting internal wirework systems to kitchen carcasses.
- Kitchen aftersales and appliance installation.
- Seeing through contract orders to completion.
- Picking and packing of stock and loading of complete orders.
- Goods In and checking of products.
- Delivering of Kitchens.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge to effectively perform the role.
- Work within a designated department in a position within the team as designated by the Manager/Supervisor.

**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- 5 Years’ Experience in Kitchen Installation & Joinery.
- Kitchen Carcass, Door & Internal Wirework Assemble Experience.
- Organisation, flexibility, commitment, and punctuality.
- Work independently to achieve production goals.
- Keen to learn and develop new skills.
- Capable of working in a culturally diverse environment.
- Warehouse experience (advantageous).
- Knowledge of manufacturing production processes (advantageous).
