Bookkeeper

This is a part time role, working for a small and vibrant, family run business.

Hours of work part time role: 24-28 hours weekly over 3-4 days 9am to 5pm.

Office based.

You will take ownership of the Accounts function and report to the Directors.
- You will be required to check and input purchase invoices to Sage, input Sales orders and send out statements
- Monitor credit limits and chase unpaid invoices, prepare and submit VAT returns, bank reconciliation, calculate monthly payment run and send out remittances, petty cash, make queries with suppliers.
- As they are a small team there may be additional ad-hoc duties assigned by the Directors, assist in Office Admin, prepare information and documents at year end for external accountants as well as liaison with the technical manager over technical queries.
