**Job description**

A number of large, leading Mental Health Hospital/Homes in Cardiff and surrounding areas are on the hunt for talented Mental Health Support Workers for an immediate start We have a number of positions available Full and Part Time, which will be for on-going support in the local area.

**As a Support Worker you will**:

- Support individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions to lead a good quality of life whilst achieving positive outcomes along the way.
- Assist individuals to learn new skills.
- Understand medication procedures.
- Understand safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Work as part of a team of dedicated, qualified and capable staff team who put the people living here at the heart of what we do.
- 8/10/12 hour shifts available

What you’ll need to be successful as a Mental Health Support Worker
- A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with Mental Health issues
- Empathetic, caring and resilient nature
- At least 3 months experience of working within a healthcare setting in the UK
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK

**HOW TO APPLY**

Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
