**CORE PURPOSE**
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual who has a passion for sport and enjoys working with young people.
**Working week**
Monday to Friday term time only
Daily hours to be confirmed
30 hours per week total

Sports TA Level 3

16 months
**JOB ROLE/SPEC.**
- Be able to communicate effectively with young people.
- Work well within a team.
- Have an understanding and commitment in delivering the PE National Curriculum.
- Show an understanding for skill progression.
- Confidence and competence to lead small groups of children during lessons and at break and lunchtimes and in clubs.
- Knowledge and understanding of how to safely use and maintain sporting equipment.
- A commitment to supporting and enhancing the school’s sporting and healthy lifestyle profile.
- Support positive behaviour within lessons and throughout school.
- Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of good primary practice.
- Ability to critically self-evaluate practices as a tool for improvement.
- Be able to demonstrate good organizational skills.
- Show a good level of computer/technology literacy.
**Essential qualifications**
Maths and English at GCSE grade A-C (4-9)
