**The essence of the role**

To assist the property management team in proactively managing a property portfolio ensuring that they remain compliant with legislation. This is a varied role that require regular travel in the field so it is essential that you can drive and have access to your own vehicle.

**Scope of the Property Officer role**
- Support the property manager in establishing networks external to the organisation
- Assist the property manager in ensuring the portfolio is compliant according to legislation
- Conduct property visits to check the properties are in a suitable condition
- Ensuring void properties are turning around as efficiently as possible
- Arranging gas/electric safety certificates
- Facilitate and assist with collecting meter readings and deal with any issues that arise

**Prerequisites**
- MUST HOLD A UK DRIVING LICENCE
- Previous housing association or estate agency experience
- Ability to work towards strict deadline
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work and succeed in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be organised and able to prioritise
