**Cleansing Operative (Sports Pavilions)**
**Grade**: **£11.21 per hour**
**21 hours per week**
**Variable Days & Hours**: **Monday to Sunday**
**Key Objectives**:
To undertake, to a high standard, all routine cleaning of the Councils **Sports Pavilions** in a clean and tidy state, prepared for the use by hirers, in accordance with daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
**Responsibilities**:.
**Toilets & Sport Pavilions - Mid-Week clean and Weekend clean due to fixtures**:
- Clean and sanitise toilet units and urinals
- Clean and sanitise hand washing facilities and splash back
- Clean and buff mirrors
- Dust and damp wipe sills, ledges and all horizontal surfaces
- Dust and damp clean soap, towels & toilet roll dispensers
- Replenish toilets rolls, soaps and change towel dispensers
- Sweep, vacuum and mop floors using a disinfectant solution
- Empty waste bins and bag up rubbish
- Remove mud, graffiti, and any other dirt (or materials) and debris from floors, walls, furniture and doors
- Dust and remove cobwebs etc. from sills, ledges and corners
- Sweep and mop floors
- Clean all shower units, pipes, fittings and tiles.
**Monthly Cleans**:
- Remove marks and spillages from partitions, doors and light-switches
- Dust and damp-wipe pipes and fixtures and fittings
- High dust, and removal of cobwebs
- Wash down tiles and skirting boards
- Put drain cleaner in waste pipe units in accordance with manufacturer’s instruction
- Clean windows internal
- Clean and remove lime scale from shower heads.
To cover sickness and annual leave when required, at Town Hall, Depot/Mess Room, Public Toilets, Community Hall and Event Cleaning.
