**Area of responsibility**
There is an exciting opportunity for a QA to join the food safety team here at Bugle. Working within a small team, quality and food safety is our focus. The factory-based role requires you to work closely with the production team to ensure compliance to site procedures, policies, and customer requirements.
**Specific tasks**
- Inspection and verification of factory records
- Calibration of equipment
- Swab and sample collection including registration
- Factory GMP and internal audits
- Incident management including complaint investigations
- Project work where requested
- Any other general related task for the team
- Assisting the QA manager where required
**Relevant experience (Preferred but not essential)**
- Previous experience in a QA role within a chilled food production environment
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to conduct, report and communicate internal audits
- Understanding of CCP’s and procedures
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
- Computer experience and skills regarding use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Level 2 Food Safety and HACCP training
**Specifics**
- Hours of work are mainly Monday - Friday and consists of day shifts from 5am to 2pm and 9am to 6pm
- Minimum 40 hrs per week
- Shift patterns may differ during initial training
- Occasional weekends will be required during peak periods
- Salary £26,256 per annum.
