Storeman

Blue Hydraulics is looking for a Storeman to join our team.

Position will be on full time, permanent basis providing successful 3 month probationary period has been completed.

Essential for the role will be previous experience in stores role or workshop/ warehouse management, forklift license. Previous experience in assembly and fabrication work will be beneficial.

Main Responsibilities:

- Stores organisation
- Stock control
- Maintaining stock levels using ERP system
- Preparing parts for projects
- Goods in and out including taking deliveries, dealing with couriers, first of inspection, booking in
- Goods out including picking and packing, booking out, arranging transport, preparing documentation
- Prepare documentation and labels
- Maintaining equipment and tools including testing and calibration
- Ensuring workshop is organised and compliant at all times
- Making deliveries and collections using work vans
- General workshop duties including manual handling, lifting operations, simple assembly jobs, support to hydraulic technicians and engineers as and when required, simple diy jobs

Job Duties:

- Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner
- Move and stack materials
- General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
- Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation
- Use common warehouse management software
- Receive/process shipments
- Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear
