Restaurant and Catering Outlet Assistant

Ideally you will be aged 18 or over in order to undertake aspects of the role in different catering outlet locations within the Rare Breeds Centre site. You will also need to be available to work weekends and during school holidays.

Due to our rural location you will need to have access to your own transport to be able to get to the RBC.

This role is being offered on a 16 hour contract.

As a Restaurant and Catering Outlet Assistant you will contribute to the smooth running of The Granary Restaurant and the catering outlets within the Rare Breeds Centre (RBC). The RBC is a busy tourist attraction located in Woodchurch and is part of Canterbury Oast Trust.

**Pay, Hours and Training**:

- Hourly rate is £10.26 if you are aged 18 or over and for those under 18 years of age the hourly rate is £7.38.
- Weekend allowance of £0.70 per hour.
- Shifts are normally between 4 - 6 hours (predominantly on a Saturday and/or Sunday) and during the school holidays.
- Full role specific training will be provided together with mandatory e-learning units undertaken during initial shadow shifts

**Eligibility**
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
- An enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service
- Two references satisfactory to the Trust -one of which must be from your current or most recent employer
- A full and detailed employment history
