**About the Role**:
The role is for an Apple Systems Administrator in the Department of Computing. The position holder is expected to be responsible for managing the department’s fleet of Apple computers, and to support, maintain and develop the backend systems to enable this. You will work closely with technicians and academics to support the delivery of teaching and research within the department.
You will have a high level of knowledge about, and experience of using Apple computer systems, as well as professional experience of configuring and managing Apple devices to a high standard, preferably at scale. Experience of using software management systems, creating packages for deployment, and managing licences. Experience and knowledge of Mobile Device Management and Apple School Manager. A proven track record of delivering complex technical projects to a deadline, you will be proactive, able to work effectively both independently on your own initiative, and as part of a team of technicians.
