We are looking for full-time receptionist to join our friendly team, the dental receptionist will be the first point of contact to patients and will work closely with our team of dentists and specialists, ensuring dental sessions run as smoothly as possible. We are looking for a person who has a positive and charismatic attitude and can work flexible hours. The receptionist duties will include preparing and maintaining the booking and payment systems and providing excellent support and guidance to patients about the treatments.

**What the role requires**:

- Minimum 1 year of similar receptionist experience;
- to be able to provide exceptional levels of patient/customer care over the phone and face to face;
- welcome all patients arriving at the practice in a friendly polite manner;
- managing correspondence in a timely manner;
- be motivated, organised and a good communicator who thrives upon maintaining high standards and promoting our values;
- ensure that the appointment/booking system is working efficiently and accurate;
- collect and record patient payments safely;
- managing all the invoices and deliveries;
- encourage prompt payments and chase outstanding debts according to the practice policy;
- liaise with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations as required;
- compile day sheets;
- keep the office, reception area and waiting room clean and tidy;
- deputise for the practice manager;
- organise stock supplies and control;
- undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities;
- attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR;
- work between different practice locations from time to time when required and
- other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice (perhaps including the other duties as required).
