An exciting opportunity has arisen for a flexible and motivated individual to join our Epsom MRI Team. We are looking for a MRI Superintendent radiographer to help manage the MRI service. The post holder will be responsible for day-to-day organisation of the staff and resources.

The trust currently has 4 GE MRI scanners; 2 on the Epsom site and 2 on the St Helier site. This is an exciting time at the trust with planning work continuing for the new Specialist Emergency Care Hospital opening in 2025 on the Sutton site and South West London Community Diagnostic Centre's.

Superintendent Radiographer Band 7 - MRI Unit

This superintendent role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced radiographer to develop their managerial and leadership skills whilst maintaining clinical practice.

This post will be based at Epsom Hospital with the responsibility to manage MRI Unit.

You will be responsible for supporting junior staff working in MRI and maintaining high standards of clinical care overseeing both Health and safety standards.

You will be the point of contact both for internal staff as well as clinicians and senior managers across the trust to resolve issues and facilitate change in the provision of Epsom MRI service and will be required to work closely with the clinical and management team.

You may also be required to take part in the out of hours duty rota and support 7 day working.
