The purpose of this role is to assist the HR Manager in managing, developing and implementing employment policies and procedures for all employees. This role is on a 9-12 monthfixed-term basis to cover maternity leave, with the potential of going permanent.

- Ensuring policies and procedures are up-to-date with current legislation and that they are applied accurately and fairly.
- To assist in the recruitment of staff..
- To coordinate all internal and external training activities.
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures including employment legislation.
- Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with employees at all levels and be persuasive and diplomatic yet firm.
- IT literate including MS Office, particularly MS Word and Excel.
- CIPD qualified
