**Company Description**
Upwork has partnered with an Enterprise client that specializes in helping businesses across all industries modernize through cloud adoption to achieve data-driven transformation. Their team of experts leverages the latest Google Cloud technologies and best practices to create customized solutions for each client.

They are currently looking to partner with a **Data Analytics Consultant** to engage on a 2+ month remote assignment for 40 hours per week with the potential to extend.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work with Clients to enable them on the Looker Platform, teaching them how to construct an analytics ecosystem in Looker from the ground up.
- Advise clients on how to develop their analytics centers of excellence, defining and designing processes to promote a scalable, governed analytics ecosystem.
- Utilize Looker, a business intelligence platform, to write LookML and design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports for end-users.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data analytics solutions to ensure efficient processing and query performance.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of data analytics solutions with existing systems and processes.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Data Analytics Architect or a similar role, with a focus on Looker.
- Cloud Experience is required -** GCP is ideal.**:

- Excellent comprehension of **Looker’s security capabilities **and supporting multiple personas in the platform.
- Proficiency in utilizing Looker’s subscription and alerting functionality. Familiarity with data actions is a plus.
- Proficiency in Looker for designing interactive dashboards and reports.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques. Experience working with dbt or dataform is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Background in professional services/consulting.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with multi-instance**_ deployments and scaling data analytics solutions on the cloud._**:

- Experience with **_PowerBI is a plus_**, as this role will involve migrating content from PowerBI to Looker.
