We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Higher Level Teaching Assistant** to join a local school in Gosforth. The **HLTA** will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and managing small groups or whole classes under the supervision of a teacher. They will also provide support to teachers and students, and work closely with the school leadership team to ensure the best outcomes for all students.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to students
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback to teachers and students
- Managing small groups or whole classes as required
- Providing support to teachers and students in the classroom
- Collaborating with the school leadership team to ensure the best outcomes for all students

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working as a teaching assistant
- HLTA certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
