Childcare Practitioner

We are looking to recruit 1 x Full-Time and 1 x Part-Time Childcare Practitioners for a new daycare facility.

Responsibilities include:

- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a safe and stimulating environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children
- Assist with homework and educational activities
- Maintain a clean and organised play area
- Follow parents' instructions regarding schedules, routines, and behaviour management.
- Ensure the well-being and safety of children at all times

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children of various ages is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or must be willing to attend training.
Safeguarding Children training preferred or must be willing to attend training.
- Valid driving license and clean driving record is essential due to rural location.
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification Is desirable.

An enhanced DBS will be required for this role and this will be funded by the employer.
