The ICB MH programme team are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced place-based lead to work within our Adult mental health programme. You will be part of a wider team of place based and programme leads across all age MH programme and strive to deliver the NHS Long Term Plan and supporting Community mental health transformation.

Experience of partnership work and delivery of projects is an essential part of this role and with local stakeholders, users, and partners, the team is developing an exciting programme of transformation for the future.

The Place Lead Adults; will work alongside Pathway Programme Leads and other MH team members to deliver a significant programme of Integration and delivery in line with the ambition of the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and All-Age MH programme.

The role will forge relationships with local partners and communities and understand the needs of each Place whist managing major initiatives or programmes in those communities within the portfolio of MH. They will create a locally informed range of projects bespoke to those communities and providers, and support transformation, service improvement and engagement.

The post holder will also work as a deputy to a Programme of work and support the All-Age MH team matrix approach to the full programme plan of work.

Develop and lead MH integration at place, aligning programmes with the ICB evolving place structure and its partners; especially developments within PCNs and Local Authority

Develop local partnerships, including with the voluntary and faith communities, connect to those of the MH ICB system

Act as a deputy to a pathway programme and work in tandem with programme leads

Develop, manage, and monitor Place based programmes with colleagues from the All-Age MH team

Lead the oversight of place contract and specification development, in line with clinical pathways and needs of the MH programme

The Mental Health Programme team are part of the Medical directorate in Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB. The programme team aim to deliver the ambition of the NHS Long Term Plan for Mental Health and improve the outcomes for people living in L&SC with a Mental health illness or wellbeing concern.

The Mental Health programme is delivered by working with NHS and non-NHS stakeholders and partners and is embedded in a population health approach to meet and improve outcomes of a varied group of residents and across a challenging geographic area.
