**Part-Time Finance Coordinator-**Spider is supporting our client who is a one-stop package of services for any event or industry. They are currently recruiting a **Part-Time Finance Coordinator**to join their organisation based in, Ipswich, Suffolk.

**Do you have a passion for numbers and finance?**

As their **Finance Coordinator,**you will join their team on a part-time basis between 15 to 20 hours per week. The hours can be worked flexibly between 8.30 and 5.00 Monday to Friday.

With a strong financial background and experience with Xero or the ability to transfer skills to their finance platform Xero, you will be responsible for carrying out the financial procedures and ensuring that the day-to-day financial operations run smoothlyand in line with regulations.

**Your role will include**:

- **Sales ledger** - ensuring invoices are raised and posted in an accurate and timely manner
- **Purchase ledger** - ensuring that invoices allocated, authorised and paid in an accurate and timely manner
- Management of the bank, ensuring that the accounts are reconciled
- **Credit control** - Carry out weekly review of debtors and ensure that credit control procedures are implemented. And carry out credit checks
- **Payroll** - manage the payroll and pension process for monthly payments
- Prepare month and year end accounts
- Ensure that data is maintained in line with GDPR requirements

**Skills required**:

- Experience with accounts
- Knowledge of Xero accounting software
- Knowledge of accountancy procedures
- Excellent aptitude for figures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own or as part of a team
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation skills and time management
