**Can you source and organise work placements in Electrical and Plumbing industries?**
Its essential that our students complete work placements as part of their vocational courses and you'll support and monitor these.
As a Industry Liaison Officer working in Canterbury College you will be securing work placements with a variety of employers in the industry. You'll be the main point of contact for employers and ensure they return all required documentation.
**Each day is unique** No two employers and no two students are the same.
You will create events and visits for students and employers alike.
It will be important to work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis to identify their employability skills gaps and support them to develop these, all of which works towards a successful placement.

**About You**:
**What are we looking for?**
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organised.
- Work well on your own and as a team.
- Understanding of the needs and abilities of people with additional support needs.
- Ability to use a range of software.
- Previous experience in organising work placements or supervising in the workplace.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety related to work.
- Ability to contribute to Safeguarding practice.
