**What you’ll be doing**

The role is responsible for overseeing the guest experience from taking the initial booking to finalising their event. The Event Executive becomes the customers point of contact, completes up-selling and all final event documentation up until the event arrival and handover to the Operations Team. The role has a strong focus on maximising sales and conversion for the hotel, working with members of the service delivery teams and ensuring a high quality end product.

You will ensure all hotel events have a seamless turnover from sales to service and back to sales. You will also recognise opportunities to maximize revenue by up-selling and offering enhancements to create a better overall event.

**What we’re looking for**
- Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
- Computer literate
- Strong communicator and confident
- Previous hotel customer service experience desired
- Previous experience planning events is a big plus

This is a full time position (40 hours), mostly Monday to Friday but occasional evenings and weekends may be required to host clients and meet business needs.
