We are currently looking to recruit an administrator to join our Psycho-oncology (cancer psychological support) team. This role will be ideal for a person with particular interest in psychological care and cancer, keen to develop a career in healthcare, who can interact compassionately and effectively with people in distress, and who will have the capability to deliver reliable administrative support within a patient-facing healthcare setting.

Our administrator will be working closely with the team of psychologists, with the support of oncology managers and senior administrators, and the flexibility to organise and prioritise the diverse workload. There is positive scope and support to develop knowledge and skills in this area.

This post is offered on a Part-time basis (22.5 hours a week) and must include Tuesdays.

Provide a comprehensive and quality administration service to the designated department and manage and prioritise their workload liaising closely with the other administration staff and management in the Department.

Provide administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team, including Consultants.
