Graphic Illustrator (In-House)

Salary is between £18k - £24k + bonus - This is an office-based role.

Introduction:
Opis Group is looking for an experienced in-house Graphic Illustrator to work on an exciting blockchain gaming project. You will be working on character design, environmental design, and other important assets required by the project.

Main Responsibilities:
As an illustrator, you'll need to:

- liaise with the Head of Creative, story writers, and other areas of the business in order to understand and interpret the business needs.
- Complete the assigned tasks and report to the Head of Creative.
- Be office-based
- gain knowledge of appropriate styles.
- analyze a brief's specification and the text to be illustrated, as well as research sources.
- think imaginatively and creatively to produce new ideas.
- use computer-aided design packages to design and edit assets for the project
- work within a set timescale, often to tight deadlines.
- create original pieces for the project.

Your Skills:

- Familiar with the Adobe Creative cloud suite.
- Experience working on creative projects.
- Be able to creatively interpret a brief into high-quality illustrations.
- Adapt to various Art-Styles.
- Knowledge of basic animation is advantageous.
- Have a comprehensive portfolio of previous work
- Time management skills
