Responsible for Quality Control within Controls Cell (Cell 5) within the Montrose facility. The responsibilities will include ensuring product and process within the workshop meet correct specifications instilling a mindset of no quality escapes.

As a Quality Control Inspector - Controls Cell (Cell 5), you will be responsible for:

- Inspecting products for fit, form and function requirements.
- Suggesting improved methodology relating to all mechanical assemblies.
- Inspecting complex Mechanical assemblies against the engineering drawing requirements.
- Ensuring all aspects of production are carried out in accordance with company procedures relating to HSE and relevant quality Codes of Practice.
- Ensuring Work Order documentation is correct and completed to date before, during and on completion of the build process.
- Ensuring safe working practices are adhered to at all times and general housekeeping is maintained to a high standard.
- Providing the verification and sign off process generated documentation related to the manufacture of subsea controls and ancillary equipment, to ensure that all the planned and specified requirements have been satisfactorily undertaken.
- Closing work orders on the satisfactory completion of the respective work order.
- Carrying out product and process surveillance, including the liaison with manufacturing personnel to ensure that any problems identified and recorded are dealt with effectively.
- Raising non-conformance records related to product build problems.
- Carrying out specialist inspection techniques in accordance with build requirements
- Contributing to departmental improvement initiatives.
- Enhancing and raising awareness of inspection and quality standards within the site.

- Have appropriate level of qualification in Science, Engineering or Quality Management.
- Have Oil & Gas experience.
- Demonstrate strong HSE culture.
- Have good communication skills including active listening, interpersonal skills and presentation/reporting skills.
